The decoration for your wedding is not only restricted to the reception party you also have to think about how you would like the church or other venue for your ceremony to be decorated. There are many different types of decoration you would need to think about not only regarding things such as flowers but also with anything such as banners, confetti or any home made decorations you may want to include in the decoration of your wedding.

There are so many ways for you to decorate your wedding it may be hard to decide exactly what kind of things you should include so here are some ideas that may help you decide what to decorate with and how to make your own decorations if that is what you decide to do;

• Season - You may, if having trouble deciding on a theme for your decoration, want to take inspiration from the season in which your wedding is being held. There are plenty of decorations available for this kind of wedding decoration whether it is at a time of year where there are no real markers such as summer, or even if there is a holiday around the time you are planning to have your wedding such as Christmas or Easter. This doesn't mean that you have to decorate your entire hall or reception area in this style but you can get some small decorations that just give a set feel to the decoration such as candles or small arrangements. With a situation such as this you could even incorporate the season into the wedding favours, for example you could have candy canes and other such Christmas related sweets.
• Budget - Just as with any part of your wedding budget makes a great difference as to what you can have exactly. For those that have a large budget to work with it is always easier because no matter the decoration you want you will be more likely to get it exactly the way you want it, this doesn't however mean you can't have the decorations you want if on a tight budget its just the way you go about getting them is different. For example where as some people could afford to have a professional decorator complete all the work for them including any hand made decorations that may be wanted, where as others may have to make their own decorations and plan the lay out for them all in the wedding hall or reception venue.

There are of course plenty of ways you can make your own decorations and plenty more theme ideas that you would be able to have. Of course it helps if you could have the advice of a professional to guide you in the right direction but don't forget there are always things you can do your self to reduce the cost if you don't have a lot of money to spare.
