Hen NightsThis is always held before the wedding and is seen as the last chance to do things that your husband to be may not approve of and of course to have as much fun as possible before settling in to a more mature married life. It is traditionally the duty of the chief bridesmaid to arrange the hen night for the bride to be, so it is up to the one planning the party to try and subtly find out what the bride is expecting or hoping from her party. There are many different things to think about when planning a hen night and below are some different options for these parties and different ways in which you can plan them;

  • Style - As the planner you would need to think about what kind of party the bride would appreciate more out of a wild night out with the girls and a good looking man covered in baby oil, or a more subtle girly night with pampering sessions, wine and fine foods. There are plenty of ideas of what you can do these days so it is entirely just a case of what the bride's tastes are and what kind of night you want to give her.
  • General ideas - There are plenty of places that you can go to hold a hen party but choosing the right one for the bride to be is the biggest challenge. If you were wanting a more wild styled party then you could have the party at a strip bar or somewhere similar, if you were planning a more relaxed night then you could start with all being pampered at a health spa during the day get your make up done professionally then go out to high class bars for cocktails and other such luxuries. You need not specifically hire out a pub or club for the occasion you could simply arrange a plan for a pub crawl, if there are going to be a large of you then you may be best contacting the bars before hand to ensure you will be granted access in such a large group.
  • Hen NightsTheme - Just as the many types of style the themes behind hen nights are becoming just as varied. There are fancy dress costumes that are very popular with hen parties but then if you are planning a high class party then you could arrange for everybody to wear outfits such as cocktail dresses or evening dresses. So dependant on the style of your hen party you can have a theme that coincides with it.
